Whatcom County YMCA Dolphins (WCYD) is a year-round YMCA & PSSA affiliated swim team serving athletes throughout Bellingham and Whatcom County.
Swimming with the Dolphins is an experience that your swimmer will keep with them for a lifetime. Every lesson learned and goal set and achieved builds your swimmer’s character with a strong work ethic and teaches perseverance, goal setting, teamwork, healthy lifestyle, positive competitive skills and self-discipline. Every one of these skills will prepare your swimmer for success in whatever they pursue throughout their life.
League Affiliation
The Dolphins participate with other western Washington YMCA's through the Puget Sound Swimming Association (PSSA) www.psswim.org. The Dolphins compete in the northern section of the PSSA and have teamed with the Skagit Valley Y Chinooks for meets during the 2010-2011 season.
